When I couldn’t run marathons anymore, I thought it was the end of long distance events. However, when I took up swimming again, I realized that I have gained a lot of endurance from running.

This morning, the coach complimented me on my breaststroke. It is my best stroke but not my favorite. I love the backstroke though I can never swim straight consistently. I like that I could take a breath whenever I want.

Last Saturday, I signed up for the 50 yards, 100 yards, and 200 yards breastroke; 100 yards and 200 yards individual medley. Swimming helps me to keep a positive outlook. All of a sudden, I want to eat healthy and sleep early. But I think I overexerted myself at the meet. So I’m taking a few days off!
